Why Operation Matters
Many organisations develop marketing plans but struggle to execute them consistently.
Common challenges include:
- irregular marketing activity
- disconnected campaigns
- inconsistent messaging
- lack of follow-up with potential customers
Without a structured approach to execution, marketing activity becomes unpredictable.
The Operation section ensures marketing is delivered through a controlled and repeatable process.
What We Look For
During the Operation section of the MMS review we assess several areas.
Marketing Activity
We review the organisation’s ongoing marketing activity, including:
- outbound marketing campaigns
- email communication
- website activity
- content and messaging
The focus is on consistency rather than isolated campaigns.
Audience Engagement
Marketing execution should create opportunities for conversation.
We assess:
- how organisations connect with potential customers
- how engagement is generated across different channels
- how interest from prospects is captured and recorded
Sales Interaction
Marketing and sales activity should operate as part of the same system.
We review:
- how marketing activity leads to sales conversations
- how sales teams follow up on interest generated
- how feedback from sales informs future marketing activity
Consistency of Activity
Successful marketing systems rely on regular activity rather than occasional effort.
We assess whether organisations maintain consistent communication with their market through structured outreach and visibility.
The Outcome
By the end of the Operation section we establish whether marketing activity is being delivered:
- consistently
- in alignment with the commercial plan
- in coordination with sales activity
- in a way that can be measured and improved
This ensures marketing operates as an ongoing commercial system rather than a series of disconnected campaigns.
In Simple Terms
The Operation section answers a straightforward question:
Is marketing activity actually happening in a structured and consistent way?
Once this is confirmed, the Monofix Management System moves to the next section:
Performance Evaluation — reviewing how marketing activity is performing.
